The ASR Crew - Cape Town

We are very lucky in Cape Town to be able to draw from several NSRI bases around the peninsula. Below are Bios of the crew men and women who serve with the ASR unit and links to their mother NSRI bases. These individuals have all undergone specialised Rescue Swimmer training based on the US Coast Guards Rescue Swimmer Program. Several Crew* have also undergone special training with the RAF's C-Flight 22 Squadron, based at the RAF Jet Fighter training school in Holyhead, UK. Other Crew ‡ have undergone training with the various United States Coast Guard Units
