United States Coast Guard - Air Base San Francisco

One of our crew took a few days off whilst in San Francisco to run through a few exercises with the United States Coast Guard units stationed in the bay. The units were the Air Base San Francisco and the USCG Golden Gate. Our thanks go out to AST1 Dennis Moyer for taking time out of his busy schedule to accommodate us.

USCG Air Base San Francisco uses the Dolphin helicopter of which they have 4

inside the dolphin

the latest which hook with the lockable gate

the approach vestor is usually 30-40 degress of the boats heading with the UTB going ahead
